The New Giulia Quadrifoglio is itself an exquisite product of this elevated design philosophy. The driver of the New Giulia Quadrifoglio is always at the center, in a cockpit designed with the same approach as the exterior: minimalistic, with a use of sophisticated materials such as carbon fibre and leather, and technology dedicated to a harmonious human/machine relationship.

The New Giulia Quadrifoglio features a 'brain' dedicated to vehicle dynamics. It’s the Alfa™ Chassis Domain Control (CDC), a module which integrates the actions of ESC, Alfa™ DNA Pro, Alfa™ Active Torque Vectoring, Alfa™ Active Aero Splitter, Integrated Brake System (IBS) and Alfa™ Active Suspension, assigning specific tasks to each one of these devices in order to achieve the best dynamic performance.

The New Giulia Quadrifoglio combines pure driving emotions and ultimate safety systems to leave the driver and its passenger relaxed and comfortable. Forward Collision Warning (FCW) with Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) including pedestrian detection function, Lane Departure Warning (LDW comes as standard), Active Cruise Control with speed limiter, Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) with rear cross-path detection and rear view camera with dynamic gridlines and parking sensors are all available.

This innovative electromechanical system combines the stability control and brake system. Not only does it allow for a significant weight reduction, this device optimises the feedback through the brake pedal, guaranteeing an almost instantaneous response and outstanding braking achievement of 62-0 mph in just 32 metres.

The New Giulia Quadrifoglio features an all-new generation of standard infotainment system featuring a 8,8” high definition display with Bluetooth, USB and steering wheel controls. The human/machine interface is managed by an intuitive Rotary Pad. The infotainment system comes with Connect 3D Nav, with Digital Audio Broadcast (DAB).

The New Giulia Quadrifoglio can also feature the Sound Theatre by Harman Kardon with 900 W of power channeled to 14 speakers, including two surround sound speakers and one subwoofer.

The heart of the New Giulia Quadrifoglio is a gasoline powered 2.9 V6 bi-turbo engine with 90° opposed cylinders. The engine delivers 505 hp and 600 Nm of torque between 2500 and 5000 RPM.

This new engine was developed in close collaboration with Ferrari. Made entirely of aluminum, it is extraordinarily powerful, yet lightweight.

The New Giulia Quadrifoglio features an 8 speed automatic transmission, designed to give the driver complete control.

The New Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is more than a showcase for the best power–to–weight ratio in its class, it's a study in how to use that power. Its perfect 50:50 weight distribution creates optimal balance and showcases the advantage of a rear–wheel–drive system in a front-engined vehicle. By pairing rear–wheel drive with the New Giulia Quadrifoglio’s front–mounted, all–aluminum 6–cylinder engine, the Alfa Romeo engineering team was able to carefully distribute weight throughout the chassis.

New Giulia is equipped with new patented Alfa™ Link scheme: Front Double wishbone with semi-virtual steering axle and rear 4-and-a-half links.

Front double wishbone with semi-virtual steering axle keeps the front wheels perfectly perpendicular to the ground even in fast cornering situations, improving by 20% steering wheel torque linearity and reducing understeer.

Rear 4-and-a-half links is able to provide best-in-class handling (lateral grip) while offering premium comfort.

The New Giulia Quadrifoglio is equipped with an innovative system that ensures the optimal distribution of torque to the two rear shafts, thanks to an electronically controlled differential featuring two clutches. This results in greater traction and more secure handling, even at high speeds, in curves, and on any type of road surface.

The New Giulia Quadrifoglio is the only sedan in the world with an Active Aero splitter: a carbon appendix positioned under the front bumper. At over 100 km/h it opens thanks to two actuators controlled by the Alfa™ CDC (Chassis Domain Control), providing additional stability by increasing the downforce, especially in high-speed curves.

The development of aerodynamics is the result of thorough wind tunnel testing. The New Giulia Quadrifoglio has a natural downforce coefficient (Cz) of -0,1: the higher the speed, the greater the downforce applied to the car which gives it greater stability and maneuverability.

The New Alfa™ DNA Pro selector interacts with the Chassis Domain Control. It instantaneously adapts the behavior of the car to the selected driving mode:

• RACE activates the overboost function and enhances the exhaust sound for sport track driving.

• DYNAMIC delivers sharper braking and steering-wheel response for sporty on-road driving.

• NATURAL is a setting characterized by comfort-suspension for a perfect balance during daily driving.

• ADVANCED EFFICIENCY enables cylinder deactivation to maximize energy savings and dynamic efficiency.

The New Giulia Quadrifoglio's body is casted in high–strength steel, fenders and doors in aluminum, and wears a carbon fiber hood and roof. Furthermore, carbon fiber aerodynamic appendixes and driveshaft work in conjunction with all-aluminum suspensions to create motoring’s perfect balance.

All electronic systems operate smoothly in order to help the driver in minimizing fuel consumption. And, thanks to the electronically-controlled, patented cylinder deactivation, the New Giulia Quadrifoglio can cover 100 km on just 8.5 litres of fuel and emits only 198 g/km of CO2 (combined cycle).
